The book by Madeleine Meuwessen - 470 pages in full colour - Second Edition
The day - no, the night - before my 62nd birthday, I knew for sure. There had been so manyk asked if I would finally teach a course on "my" remedies, that night I decided that now was the time to do it.
But before I get to this point, let me describe the past history. How did it all come to this? I would therefore like to explain and explain this whole, rather far-reaching process. I will treat the remedies in the order of their origin and the process of their creation. An alphabetical order and an index follow at the end of this book, so that the short descriptions of the remedies can be easily looked up. At least, so I think now. How that will develop further over the course of this book... 'we will see'.
On the platform of Amsterdam's Central Station, a woman stood for months from May 1945, waiting and hoping for one more family member to return by one of the trains from the camps. She was heavily pregnant.
That woman was my mother... and she was pregnant with me.
Early in my career as a social worker, I came across Bach remedies, an alternative method of healing. British physician Dr Edward Bach assumed that emotions play a major role in health issues and mental problems. His way of seeing and healing is connected to the plant world and has a spiritual dimension. The blossom remedies do not work directly on the physical constitution, but by addressing negative emotions, changes also eventually take place at the physical level, coming from the higher level of consciousness. I was so touched by this that I made my own study of flower therapy. Together with my son Micha, I came into contact with many plants that provide a valuable essence. That is where my flower remedies came from. Sometimes we simply 'meet' these plants in the garden of our house in Badhoevedorp. But we also travelled the world for this and found blossoms in countries including the Netherlands, France, Scotland, Bali, Kenya, Malaysia and Austria. My life breathes the remedies. It has become a part of me. For readers, this book can act as a mirror. People get to know themselves better and know they are not alone. You recognise your weaknesses and see your own struggles. But there is also a way out. There is a flower remedy for every negative state of mind, or a combination of these remedies. You don't even have to believe in them. Because blossom remedies from the rich plant world always work. This book is suitable for both users and professionals. For sale through bookstores and online
